Only for the big and strong...

Liz from CA wrote (October 08, 2012):

This is a well made tool, but too heavy for me except for limited use. The strong young men in the family love it.

Great fork, very robust, but, too heavy for women & children

Howell, MI equine farm owner from MI wrote (October 05, 2012):

It's a great fork, the forged diamond shaped tines are close enough to pick up smaller pieces. Especially in paddocks where the long grass breaks the plastic forks. However, it's just too heavy for women and children to use for any length of time. Perhaps if it had an aluminum handle. I returned mine. Too bad. I really liked it's robustness.

don't get stuck with this tool

kid klondike from NH wrote (September 25, 2011):

I have been using hand tools every day for 28 years for my livelihood and I say skip this one. It is way too heavy for repeated use. That's basically it; to move mulch (as I bought it for), the weight of the tool loaded must weigh close to 100 pounds which cannot be repeated for an eight to ten hour day, no matter the strength of the user. Bad design. The tool should have lighter forks and shorter in length. If you check the market, no tool exists that has the tines close together with a long handle other than this behemith. Also, I tried to send them back (I bought three), and Leonard refused them after 30 days. Stuck with them literally.
