My daughter asked me to order her the Ames Action Hoe for she had used one during one of her internships. I had my doubts, but to my surprise I was very impressed with its abilities. Not as aggresive as a normal hoe but for removing weeds close in to plants works great. The weeds stay on the surface so that you can easily pick them up and toss from the bed area, don't have to dig through the dirt to separate the weeds.
