Barry Gertner Testimonial

Serving for 20 years in the military, you come to know what it's like to live and work with "family".
When you are in the military, there is a special bond between co-workers. Many are away from their
actual families and their fellow service members become their extended family. When I was ready to
retire, I was sure that I would never again experience that special bond between co-workers. While I was
in the service, I would wake up every day and look forward to going to work. Our mission was great but
everyone I worked with was eager to take on the challenge and worked hard to ensure we got the job
done right. I never expected to have those same experiences when I retired.

After retiring, I came to AM Leonard for my first "civilian" job and I wasn't sure what to expect as I
started my new career. I knew my experiences in the Air Force were going to help me be successful, but
I wasn't sure I would ever have that bond between co-workers, or if I would ever see the tremendous
work ethics I had experienced for 20 years in the military. However, from day one, I knew the bond
between co-workers and the outstanding work ethics where a part of the everyday life here at
AM Leonard. The desire to successfully achieve the mission, (taking care of the customer) was just as
important to the employees of AM Leonard, as it was to those I served with in the Air Force.

My choice to come to AM Leonard after retiring from the Air Force and working for Greg Stephens
was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Every day I am excited to come to work and take on
the challenges that are presented to the IS department and to continually achieve the AM Leonard
mission of "taking care of the customer".
