Original 6 seed plates are for 28 vegetable varieties. This is designed primarily for garden use after the soil is tilled. It will work on uneven ground but it should be well tilled soil. Standard six seed plates are as follows: CARROTS PLATE-will also plant lettuce, turnips, cabbage, endive, onions, and tomatoes. BEANS PLATE: will also plant peas in a 3.5" spacing.
