If you are looking for a 12-volt spreader that you can mount on a number of different vehicles easily and fast, the M21P Commercial Broadcast spreader is the unit for you. Unlike other 12-volt remote mounting commercial spreaders, the M21 has a 2in square tube backbone and a 2-pin connection. You can mount the M21 to one of our mounts (#77011, #77010, 77013), or fabricate something yourself. The M21 is a great addition to your ZTR mower, utility vehicle, golf cart, ATV or anything with wheels. Equipped EV-N-SPRED® PRO Dual Port Adjustable Shut-Off technology allows the user to control the balancing of the spread pattern on both the left and right side throwing ports to equal the center and is operated by pulling the spring to close shut-off control to the adjustable stop. The M21 uses a high-torque 12-volt motor, mounted in the hopper and protected by a thermoplastic case to protect it from the elements. The unique epoxy powder coated steel chassis design will not only easily support the 100lb/45kg capacity rustproof poly hopper but also has the quick-connect design.     Can the 12V spreader be used with mowers?
    ANSWER:
    Yes, with some fabrication. It is recommended to purchase the spreader as well as the universal mounting kit, #77011. An additional plate may have to be fabricated in order to mount to the mower.

    How high should you mount it?
    ANSWER:
    Mount it so the impeller 15 to 24 inches off the ground.
