This lawn seed mixture works well in light to medium shade. This mixture is both reasonably priced and requires no heavy fertilization! If tree roots are present, however, irrigation may be required. Seed mix contains:

Creeping Red Fescue (Improved Variety) - 40%
Chewing Fescue (Improved Variety) - 30%
Perennial Ryegrass (2 Improved Varieties) - 20%
Kentucky Bluegrass - 10%

If you are looking for results, do not be tempted by less expensive mixes. Many of these less expensive mixes contain as much as 50-70% of the poorer performing Common Red Fescue. Available in either a 5 or 25-pound bag.
