QUESTION: Can the blade be sharpened on the F600?ANSWER: The blade can be sharpened with a turbo saw sharpener (TSS). However, blades are generally replaced as they are inexpensive and easily replaced. Also the turbo blade is difficult to sharpen and after sharpening can loose some of its hardness.
QUESTION: Will the old F60 blades fit on the F600?
ANSWER: No, the F60 blades will not fit the F600, but the blades for the F600 do fit the old F60.

I'm very pleased with this handy, efficient folding [tool] that fits in my pocket.
The felco 600 is compact, powerful, quick and sharp. We've used it , in a pinch, to cut down 8' to 12' trees quickly.
Would have rated the saw a 5, but it was 8 years old, I had bent the blade tip and it was getting dull from extensive use. I got the saw along with the pruners while taking a Master Gardner class and use both tools quite frequently. Replacing the saw was not an option due to its quality.
I'm the boss so my opinion doesn't always count. But last time I ordered flolding saws I order the saw that cost five dollars less. My guys made me sent them back for the Felco F600 the ones they first asked for. I didn't think they would notice.
I use this saw almost daily in my role as a volunteer pruner for the Central Park Conservancy in New York City. It never fails and rests in my hip pocket when not in use.
