How long do I need to charge the battery? It is a good idea to charge the battery for 8-10 hours before using the sprayer, especially if you plan to spray for a long period of time. This will insure that the battery is fully charged. CAUTION: Do not leave the charger connected to the battery for longer than 20 hours, as it may cause premature battery failure.

I like the 8 gallon tank and the rechargeability but the handle on this unit does not have good durability, it broke after the 3rd tank full, I did get it replace by the manufacture, I think the handle is for a suitcase not pulling around a nursery.
