Strong enough to hold the highest pressures on the hottest days. Double tie cord reinforced for strength. Lightweight coils handle easily in all weather. Flow guard plus protective collar on 5/8" hoses resists kinks at faucet, all hoses are kink resistant. Polished surface resists abrasion, stains and mildew.     QUESTION: Can the Gilmore Flexogen be used with hot water? ANSWER: Although the hose works well during hot days, it is not intended to use with hot water. We carry rubber hose for that use, AP9690.
