8-Ply construction with over 500 psi burst strength. Heavy duty crush resistant full-flo brass couplings with built-in washer for tight sealing. Strong enough to hold the highest pressures on the hottest days. Double tie cord reinforced for strength. Lightweight coils handle easily in all weather. Flow guard plus protective collar on 5/8" hoses resists kinks at faucet, all hoses are kink resistant. Polished surface resists abrasion, stains and mildew. (NOTE: 1" hose has 1" NPT fittings and is 6-ply.) Made in the USA.

QUESTION: Can the Gilmore Flexogen be used with hot water? ANSWER: Although the hose works well during hot days, it is not intended to use with hot water. We carry rubber hose for that use, AP9690.
