I bought 3 Hoedads in the winter last year for bulb planting and weeding and planting gardens for clients. I am a Landscape Contractor. My employees keep using them which means they like them better than dimpler's and bulb planters. I personally took one on a hiking trip and the sharp blade was great and it a practical tool for bushwhacking considering I can't swing a machete very well. I did regretabbly have one handle brake at the tool head, it is secured by one narrow gauge pin, thus causing my employee to fall over and hit his head on a rock. But he kept on keeping on, and alls well that ends well. So I am down a tool, but I still have a great guy.
