- ANSWER: No, there are too many different surfaces, each would use it's own type of hardware; brick, wood, cinder block etc. Your local hardware store can make the recommendation for hardware for your mounting surface

We are very pleased with this hose reel! It is sturdy and strong, and functions very well. Hose is easy to wind/unwind, and doesn't become tangled. We spray painted it a different color, to match our house, and it looks very nice. We'll have to see how it survives winter in northern Michigan, but so far it's great! It was also delivered quickly!
Overall I am very happy with this product. Steel construction holds up very well. The only problem I had with it was the hose that connects it to the water spicket blew out after 3 weeks. It is a very thin walled cheap hose. Not a deal breaker though.
This is a good hose reel, nice and strong. We did have to fix it up a bit straight out of the box though. All the threaded fittings were poorly Teflon taped at the factory. We took them apart and redid them all. We also added two additional plastic washers on the shaft, it only comes with one each side and it should be two because of the design. But other than that its working out great for us.
The reel is well made, but it didn't hold the 150 feet of hose that I have, and it is difficult to wind when it is nearly full.
