4 Stars Does the job for budding citrus and persimmons

Jim H. has a citrus and persimmon U-pik from FL wrote (September 30, 2011):

I purchased the knife for budding and grafting citrus and persimmons. The knife has met all of my expectations based on the description of the knife in the catalogue and my experiences in actually employing the knife over the past 12 months. The knife keeps a good sharp edge, and my main concern is not cutting myself! I like the "nose" at the top end of the blade as it is useful in opening up the stems when doing T budding. It would be useful if the knife has a hole or ring at the end for tying on a string so I could attach it to my belt, reducing the risk of misplacing it in the field.

5 Stars Leonard Grafting Knife

Paul - Forester & Backyard Orchardist from KY wrote (September 24, 2011):

Happy with purchase - knife is reasonably priced, functional and attractive. Also happy with AM Leonard's service.

5 Stars Folding budding knife

S. McKenzie from SC wrote (September 23, 2011):

I operate a citrus and fruit tree nursery and the knife I bought from Leonards fit perfectly into my grafting program! It's very good on citrus budding as well as cleft grafting on other fruiting trees!

4 Stars Tina budding and grafting knives

Ken from AL wrote (September 23, 2011):

I teach plant propagation and have been using Tina knives for 30 years. It has been the standard in the nursery industry for many years. I have to admit that I do not have much experience with other knives because as I buy, lose and buy again, I buy the Tina budding and grafting knives. I like the feel and look of the handle and the blade holds a good cutting edge. It has the look of a horticulturist if you pull it out of your pocket. As my green thumb withers from time to time, it is nice to look the part anyway.

5 Stars Super Grafting Knife

Herman from IL wrote (September 23, 2011):

I used this knife to cut scions from pear trees and it worked like a champ. Excellent sharp edge and good quality construction for a reasonable price.
