Sharp tri-edge teeth deliver an efficient FAST cut for those branches too big for hand pruners. Lightweight and compact, it makes a great 1-2 punch with our bypass pruners for everyday use. This sharp saw is built with outstanding features for top performance, durability, and comfort. Its high carbon Japanese steel blade is especially made for strength and sharpness.Tri-edge teeth hold sharp edges that cut quickly and cleanly, on the pull stroke. A tapered ground makes for efficient cutting performance.

The 7-inch blade length is designed with a slight curve and 7 point teeth for pruning of all types. Blade is finished with hard-chrome plating for rust resistance. High impact handle material is strong, resisting any breakage. Rubberized handle covering provides added grip and comfort. Dual action latch locks blade in open and closed position. 7-inch curved cutting blade; weight of 6 oz.

We have used the A700 Folding Pruning Saw extensively for our volunteer events. It is a good tool at an affordable price. The only drawback is the roll pin that holds the blade in lock position falls out after heavy use.

This is a pretty well made saw and enjoy having it. If I had to choose a negative it would be that over time the blade has a tendency to not easily fold back all the way due to wear. Also, it would be nice to have a leather type holder for it. A.M. Leonard responds: Item #SC89 is a wonderful sheath holder for a soil knife and this saw.
