I do like the product. When I saw it in A.M Leonard's catalog I called to find out more infos, and i ordered one. When I received it I put it to Work and it was amazing. It is not easy to find a good hedge shears all the time. In facts this is my second good one in about 20 years.

3 Stars Leonard Long-handled Straight Blade Hedge Shears

NW flotsam from OR wrote (November 17, 2011):

Although these shears are easy to handle (and compensate somewhat for my short arms), they often fail to do the job. They do not cut well along the full length of the blade, thereby necessitating repeated effort. Admittedly, holly can be tough, but a hedge shear should be able to "cut it" in every sense of the term.

I bought the Leonard Long-Handled Shear because Leonard has such a good name. I like the cushion, the short handles and the ease of use. I am very happy with the results it gives.

We bought it because it was the least expensive item in the category and because we have had good experience with Leonard tools. It is nicely balanced, comfortable to handle, and cuts cleanly. Exactly what we wanted in a hedge shear.
