QUSETION:Do you need to drill into the tail gate? ANSWERE: It is suggested,to drill 7/16" diameter holes through the support bars on the ramps (into the tailgate or truck bed) so that the pins may be inserted as safety device in holding the ramps in place. Also, Hold Down Straps should be hooked from truck to center of each ramp to ensure the ramps hold in place.
