I use this ribbon when grafting mature nut trees such as chestnuts and walnuts. The 1-inch width allows for easy wrapping and the ribbon has enough stretch that allows the ribbon to be pulled tightly without breaking. When done with the graft, I paint the ribbon surface with a grafting seal. The ribbon easily stays on the trees for 1-2 years until I remove it. In addition, the ribbon stretches as the scionwood grows. Overall, this is the best grafting tape that I have found.
