QUESTION: Can the TCP210 be used to pump water from a well? ANSWER: No. The force of air pressure that builds as the well goes deeper makes the water harder to move upward. The pump is best suited for pumping from a source where the intake hose can be laid out almost horizontal, such as a pond.

I have three of thses pumps and they work great for what I use them for. Only promblem i have with them is parts are a little hard to get.
