I like this new improved trimmer. I bought one of this style years ago and the only drawback was that it would pinch my hand if it slipped up on the handle. Boy, that would hurt! This new design has a guard against that which is much appreciated since the pruner size & capability is hard to do without in all gardening jobs.
Not worth the money, very small for a mans hand. I make wreaths and it is not a good choice for that. The handles are slippery and hard to handle. One week after I started to use them the tip would not cut and the handle keeps coming off. You have slide it back on, maybe if you use them for very small cutting they would be ok?
Professional florist since 30 years.Have used this clipper for 15 years (at least).Couldn't work without it!
My crew likes the way they feel and the ease of there use. Also they stay shaper longer then other products we have tried. The only problem is that the spring does not stay in place after they have been in use for some time.
These clippers are invaluable. They are murderously sharp (make sure you've got gloves on!) and lots stronger than they look: they can cut 1/4" diameter green wood easily. Use them for deadheading and harvesting, but also for spring/fall cleanup, cutting stems or grasses up for composting - just about anything. I'm never outside without them.
