EPDM rubber (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is an elastomer which is characterized by a wide range of applications. EPDM is a specific class of synthetic rubber that is very durable and long lasting even when exposed to sunlight, heat and other weather related extremes. EPDM rubber can be formulated using different combinations of inexpensive polymers and materials thus keeping the price relatively low. Two units can be mounted, one each on opposite sides of a 'T' post.
