It works as advertised. It is a heavy duty product and is exactly what I needed to check for deep watering of trees and shrubs.

Is it wet enough?
Leon B. from NJ wrote (September 23, 2011):
This moisture meter has saved me time and in the long run money on production in the field, helping me and my crews narrow down the ones that need it and the ones that don’t. There’s no second guessing its accuracy as long as you know what to look for. The only complaint is the battery durability. They should like most products today move to a 2-5 year lithium ion battery that will stand the test of time, then again some don’t even know there is a battery in the meter. The lens that indicates the moisture level in the soil is very delicate so stress that to your crews or invest in crazy glue.
