This is a very well designed trug, thick enough to stand up to thorns and compacting branches in it, and moving good amounts of soil and mulch. Handles are designed well too, they do not cut into your hands when you carry it, like other trugs we have. Multiple uses limited only by your imagination, I have used mine to move water to water transplants. I am looking forward to many years of use.
Quickly becoming one of my most versatile gardening tools. I use it for everything; moving mulch, soaking bare-root roses, hauling tools, carrying weeds to the compost pile, even holding Koi while cleaning the fish pond. Being an avid hunter and fisherman I just wish it came in olive drab,I would take it to the woods!
We use these tubs almost every day in the busy season here at our nursery to pick up debris and haul sand back and forth. They are very useful and tough and work well for us. The one thing I would add to make even more durable would be to reinforce the handles. We're pretty rough with our tubs...They've been run over and still hold up well! We wear them out and the handles can snap in the middle. Otherwise we love them!
I have had three of these for about 10 years and just purchased this set of 4 as a Christmas gift for my son and daughter-in-law. The high quality plastic shows little sign of wear over these years of heavy use - an awesome value for a versatile product. I wish I had more!
Oh my, I LOVE these tubs. When I got the set I actually thought, hmmm what in the world am I going to use these for... Well I can honestly say that they have been so useful for everything in my garden. I use the largest one for making my potting soil, the smallest one for filling with the soil and putting on the bench for repotting plants. Each one serves a purpose. Won't let my husband have them, he thought the large one would be great for beer and ice for parties...nope, he can't use them. So now with these tubs and my soil knife I'm a 'happy gardener'. They are a great investment, light and easy to carry.
