Bought this just in time to clear a half acreage of land for a New sunflower garden. This thing was a beast, I was amazed how easy this worked through sod, weeds, and even small trees. Something about the pitched blade made this a joy to operate. You won’t regret buying this tool!

Amazing Tool wrote

This is a rugged tool. I've used it for loosening and grading soil, as well as cultivating our vegetable garden. It cuts through small tree roots with one whack, and chops into hard soil and sod with no problem. It's like a cross between a regular hoe and a mattock. I love it.

It was a perfect garden hoe for clearing my rose bed and around over grown grass around my yard.

One heavy hoe wrote

I bought this hoe to try to clean up some tough perennial weeds. It worked just as I hoped. It is heavy but the weight is what allows it to penetrate hard dry ground. It wasn't as effective on tree sprouts that have gotten a foot hold, but it definitely has its place in my garden shed.
