So much better than what's at the box stores wrote

I felt like everything at the big box stores was cheaply made. Reviews online confirmed that the ones people bought there sometimes broke on the first day. I remember when I used to work on my dad's farm that he would buy his tools from A.M. Leonard. I am just a homeowner but I don't like to buy junk. This thing is great and made quick work out of the limbs I needed to cut. It cuts very fast and seems rugged.

Perfect for the "Buckthorn Wars." wrote

I added this to my collection of tools specifically for an ongoing project to clear the wild areas on 100 acres of wetland in Ohio of buckthorn. We use other tools for the big specimens, but needed something shorter for small stuff and tight locations.

    Lightweight but sturdy wrote

We've used these saws for our U-cut Christmas tree farm for years. They stay sharp and hold up despite being used by many inexperienced tree buyers. They work well cutting down trees from 3' to 15'. They're also a good size for other jobs in our forest that are too small to bother with the chain saw and too big for loppers. Our main problem is that a few go home with customers every year so we keep buying more.
