The Big Shot easily shoots a throw bag and up to 200 feet of line through tree limbs. Simple to operate oversized sling-shot that quickly attaches to heavy duty fiberglass poles. Allows you to launch nearly straight up which is nearly impossible to do by hand. We recommend using the Big Shot with at least 8ft of pole length to eliminate recoil and maximize launch distance of 3 to 20 ounce weights and line. Includes Big Shot head and 2- 4ft extension poles. Pick up a Big Shot Trigger and improve accuracy and reduce arm fatigue!

  • Includes two 4ft fiberglass poles

  • We recommend using both 4ft poles together on the ground to eliminate recoil and maximize launch distance
  • Works with 3 oz to 20 oz throw weights

Big Shot Launcher ELK_HUN10 from ID wrote February 25, 2011

The launcher works great. I made a trigger using a panic snap and some cord. the trigger makes it easier to aim the launcher. I use 10 oz to 14 oz weights and get good height and distance with it. The primary reason I bought this item is I want to sling a line across a river after I get an elk down. This way I can have the line at the closest point to the elk but I can cross the river upstream or down stream from the elk. It will shoot a line over the top of my cottonwood trees. Moving the trigger to a point about 18 inches from the ground, really gives me a lot of height and distance. It takes two men to pull it down this far.
