Product Features

Coating the Nameplates You can give your markers an added level of protection for when they are exposed to more extreme conditions such as excessive sun, rain, or snow. Several customers have noted that they have had success when coating the nameplates with Permalac (a clear air dry lacquer) or other weather resistant coatings. Coating the Wires If you live in an area with a high acidity in your soil, you can enhance the life of your wire standards by coating them. Some customers dip the bottom 4" of the wire into a material called ?Dip It', a product similar to a roof coating. If you decide to use this method with our PMD-10 or PMD-21 Labels, be sure to put the nameplates on the wires before dipping to ensure that you will be able to slide them into place.

I bought this marker trying to duplicate ones I had bought at Michael’s. They are as shiny as I like but the size is perfect for marking all my hosta plants.

The Best...EVER Plant Tags Penny from MA wrote February 01, 2019

I have been buying plant tags for 30 plus years and these particular markers from A.M. Leonard are the absolute best. There are others out there on the market that look the same, but they do not have the same amount of zinc so they corrode within a years time. I have over 100 daylilies and these stakes are perfect. I prefer using TZ tape labels on the marker as I find it lasts longer than a permanent black marker.
