FibreDust makes SpongEase from coconut husks. These husks, also called coir or coco peat, are a very popular growing medium. This coir works well for nearly any growing operations, including:

FibreDust compresses SpongEase blocks for shipping. Simply add water and the block will expand!

Coir does require fertilizer as it is an inert product. Use it with your favorite fertilizer or blend it with a rich compost and any desired amendments.

To expand, simply place into a container (a 5-gallon bucket or a 3-gallon pot work well) and add a little of water. This brick will expand into approximately 3 gallons of potting soil!
