Great for high-traffic areas!

COL-MET Landscape Edging features a high-quality 12-gauge steel construction. This black powder-coated, commercial-grade edging comes in 10-foot sections. Each section measures four inches in width. Sold in bundles of 5 sections with 20 stakes.

This edging is excellent for professional use. It is ideal for high-traffic areas. Once installed, you never need to worry about it again!

COL-MET engineers this edging to be incredibly long-lasting. It resists damage caused by equipment like string trimmers or mowers. The durable steel material survives years of abuse in any weather.

When calculating quantity, subtract eight inches for every connection to account for overlap.

Application Rates

When calculating quantity needed, allow for an 8" overlap for each piece (4" on either end). However, for the beginning and ending pieces you only need to allow overlap for the one end that will be connecting. (4" total overlap). Tools needed are a flat spade, a hacksaw, and a heavy hammer or small sledge.
To allow for 8" overlap: divide # of feet needed by 9.33 to obtain the # of 10' pieces needed. For example if you have 150' of installation length you will need to divide the 150' by 9.33 which equals 16 - 10' pieces needed.

    FAQ

Question: How do I determine how many pieces I will need?
Answer: Take your total length and divide it by 9.33 to find the required number of 10-foot pieces for your project.

Question: What tools do I need for installation?
Answer: You need a flat spade, a hacksaw, and a heavy hammer/small sledge.

We have used this product throughout our landscape. It is relatively easy to install, but the best part is that once it is in place, it stays put and makes nice clean lines between lawn and beds.

Heavy, but flexible Achamberlainob from WV wrote June 14, 2016

I chose this edging because it is strong and flexible. No lawnmower or shoe will destroy it, and for some reason mine has never rusted. It did cost as much to ship as to buy.

Best Stuff Ever! dbmorris257 from WV wrote June 13, 2016

Strong, durable, easy to install. It's hard to bend in tight, sweeping contours but a piece of rebar driven into the "outside" of the bend helps. The stakes provided are great!
