Razor-sharp for professional use and extremely fast cutting!

This professional pruning saw has a razor-sharp edge for extremely fast cutting. Unitary blade design with full tang through handle adds strength and control. Taper ground blade minimizes friction, thus reducing cutting effort. Impulse-hardened teeth stay sharper longer. 3-sided teeth cut more with each stroke. Steel blade has chrome-plated finish. Push button blade lock.7-inch blade length; weight of 9,2 oz.

  • 7" blade
  • Chrome plated finish.
  • Textured elastomer grip
  • Replacement blade sold separately (7800-1)

Product Features

  • Tri-edge tooth pattern helps keep the cut channel free of sawdust, resulting in a faster cut
  • Hard-chrome plating increases durability, provides corrosion resistance, and makes cleaning easier
  • NOTE: In addition to chrome plating, the teeth are impulse hardened (teeth are heated instantly and hardened). While this makes the teeth stronger, the blade is still flexible enough. However it makes the teeth very difficult to sharpen, and we do not carry a sharpener for them

    A pretty good saw wrote

I bought this saw to keep in the side pocket of my work pants. I previously had a similar Felco saw and found that it wasn't up for professional everyday use. I bought this one because it had no plastic hardware or buttons. I have found that this saw is a little too long for the side pocket of my pants and sometimes falls out when I crouch. The blade is also quite thin a feels a little on the flimsy side. When I'm sawing and the blade gets pinched, the blade gives and can flex quite a lot. I've felt sure it was going to snap on me a couple of times, but the blade has not broken or bent yet so maybe it is stronger then I think. It is just thinner than the blade on my Felco saw. I think next time I would spend the extra few dollars on the Silky Pocketboy saw.
