Product Features

Coating the Nameplates You can give your markers an added level of protection for when they are exposed to more extreme conditions such as excessive sun, rain, or snow. Several customers have noted that they have had success when coating the nameplates with Permalac (a clear air dry lacquer) or other weather resistant coatings. Coating the Wires If you live in an area with a high acidity in your soil, you can enhance the life of your wire standards by coating them. Some customers dip the bottom 4" of the wire into a material called Dip It', a product similar to a roof coating. If you decide to use this method with our PMD-10 or PMD-21 Labels, be sure to put the nameplates on the wires before dipping to ensure that you will be able to slide them into place.

I like these metal markers, easy to use, and last several years especially if legs are coated.

Name tags Tennessee from TN wrote July 27, 2018

Saw another house with the name tags on hosta and daylilies. It really adds interest to your garden especially with your guests. I had multiple unsolicited compliments when I put the names on the plants. Helps you keep track of your stock as well. Only negative is they put a barcode on one tag and it's a pain to remove. Use "TZ" labels for long lasting labels.

Great stakes! Cindy / home gardener from MA wrote July 23, 2017

I am relocating out of state and my perennials are coming with me. They will be in pots for the winter season so I needed something that will be legible and will survive the harsh New England weather. I think these will work out great. Easy to write on w/ sharpie and plenty of writing space.

These are an excellent way to mark plants in the yard and in pots. I use a #2 lead pencil to write names on these tags and it lasts a very long time.
