QUESTION: There are six standard seed plates stated in catalog, but are there any optional plates?

ANSWER: Yes, see details about our Product Number 60010.

ANSWER: No, the machine is not set up to do both. Also there is a risk of burning up the seeds with too much fertilizer.

I have an older planter and it still works great. I can't imagine planting without it.

Saves my back and knees peteyfoozer from OR wrote February 01, 2015

I have bad RA and this enabled me to continue growing a garden each year. The soil needs to be well prepared but it is so easy to just push this along and let it space and cover the seed. It sometimes skips but that could be operator error. I love mine.

Don't waste your money L. Myers from LA wrote March 25, 2014

About all this product will do is open a shallow trench for you to drop seeds in by hand. Don't waste your money on this thing, it does not do as advertised.
