This saw is just the right length to get to those hard to get to branches when pruning. Only wish there was a special cover to protect the blade. That is why I gave it a four instead of a five.
Purchased one Fanno Tri-Edge Pruning Pole Saw to try out with my landscape maintenance crew. They liked it very much so I purchased another saw for the second crew.
Very handy cutting out dead stumps on large rose bushes. Good reach without getting ripped up by the thorns.
Can't go wrong with the quality of Fanno saws. Have been using them since 1980.
There's not a lot of heft to this saw, so you're doing the work more than the saw is. Lightweight handle and broad tooth pattern makes it difficult to start to bite into a branch.
Great for cutting Palm tree limbs, you can rip Palm limbs with one rip.
I used this saw 35 years ago as an apprentice to a Japanese gardener.
