5 5 Great quality. Alternate uses... SBurns Like the other reviewer, I bought mine for a stake out stick for my kayak. It works wonderful!! Had it a few years now and no issues. Definitely a cheaper alternative to the $80 fiberglass rods they sell specifically for staking kayaks.

4 5 Good, But! I'm am just a home owner that has deer problems. My use of the fiberglass tree stakes is different that intended. I use the stakes for fencing around landscape material that the deer love. They bend too easily and then break under pressure of snow on the fencing.
A.M. Leonard replies: These were not intended to be fence posts, but we appreciate the attempt.

4 5 fiberglass tree stake SunBked Kayaker Am using this for a stake-out/push pole while Yak fishing, so far has held up. Got lost in shipping, not AM's fault. Have already suggested it to a few other Yak'er friends. Gave 4 stars because have not had it long enough, though seems it will last. Coat it with light flex-coat to protect you from possible glass splinters down the road.
