Rake for tight quarters Secret Garden Lavender & Herb Farm

We needed a small rake to get in between the lavenders in the field. This rake works great. Its perfect for getting in around the plants.

Works great, however before use the paint was coming off both rakes at the sides of the tins.

Best mulch rake.

James Widman from KS wrote (November 11, 2016):

My crew laughed when they first saw the 9" wide rake, but the small size combined with the strength of the tines makes it a perfect rake for spreading mulch in between perennials and under/around shrubs. Anytime we mulch, that rake is the first choice.

great size

AZZenny from AZ wrote (November 26, 2013):

No more telescoping/expanding rakes for me -- when I need a small head to get into snug areas, this is the go-to tool. Strong enough to handle dethatching but small and flexible enough to maneuver around the base of plants.

Narrow Forestry Rake

Am a professional perennial gardener, working at private homes o from NY wrote (January 29, 2011):

Hands down the best shrub rake I have ever used in my perennial gardening business. The tines are virtually indestructible, although do bend occasionally, and the rake is exceptionally adept at getting at leaves, debris, etc in hard-to-reach places. Moreover, the tines are so stiff that I also use the rake in a shovel-like fashion for putting down mulch in situations where one has to be very careful in the placement of the mulch. I also use it to break up compacted mulch around perennials. All in all a very handy multiple use tool!
