An affordable, effective, and environmentally friendly way to remove and re-purpose healthy sod, roots and all. Clear the way for a garden or patio by removing sod and exposing the subgrade. This kick-style tool utilizes a 12in wide, heavy-gauge blade with a sharp chamfered edge. The razor-sharp blade glides underneath the turf’s surface with each kick, slicing under the root layer to keep sod intact in uniform 12in wide strips. Cuts up to 30ft of sod in 40 seconds!

The cutter head comes assembled, and the blade is pre-set to a 2-1/4in depth. The adjustable blade allows for many clearing and cutting applications and accounts for various user heights, turf pile height, and root depth. Proper use of the tool is intuitive and quickly learned. Built to withstand tough soil conditions, light watering is recommended in dry conditions to soften the subgrade.

The heavy-gauge welded steel frame is equipped with a 12in wide stainless steel roller, 46in steam-bent and lacquer-coated hickory plow handles, and a replaceable 1075 high carbon HRC 45 steel blade. This unique tool is built to withstand the elements and provide many years of service. Made in the USA.
