Well worth the money Ben from OH wrote November 18, 2017

Rubber handle makes a HUGE difference. Used it for 4 seasons and still in great shape. I don't store it exposed to weather since it has rubber.

Bought as a gift Phil Earley from GA wrote June 01, 2017

I bought it for a neighbor to say thanks and return the favor. He is an avid landscaper and mentions how nice his shovel is at least once a week.

You Can't go Wrong Tatiana from TN wrote April 09, 2017

I'm pretty new to gardening. Hell, I'm new to doing anything in the yard besides hiring someone else! But I jumped right in with some pretty serious landscaping. Although you could spend an incredible amount of money buying "things" as a neophyte, I was advised that one thing to invest it was a good nursery spade. After reading reviews, this is the one I chose. I'm completely satisfied--it has a sharp blade and good heft--a deal breaker when you're under 5 ft tall. I'm not going to muscle my way through anything. I need the tool to do the work and it does. Yet, its light. Something else kind of important when you're on the small side.

Darn good spade! G'ma Di from OH wrote August 18, 2016

Solid, heavy duty spade that won't let you down. I bought this spade because Mike McGroarty advises to get the best shovel you can for best results. He was right! It's a standing joke in my family that no one wants my 'stuff' when I die (I'm older than dirt). When my son used this spade to help me in my yard, he said "Mom, you can leave this shovel to me when you go." :) One item down, hundreds to go.
