5 Stars

landscape fabric

DEB from NJ wrote (September 27, 2011):

GREAT PRODUCT,NEVER BOUGHT LANDSCAPING FABRIC THAT WAS MADE AS STRONG AND TIGHT FABRIC AS THIS ONE. USE THIS FABRIC AND YOU WILL NEVER USE ANY OTHER KIND. GREAT PRODUCT AND WILL LAST A VERY LONG TIME.

functioned well, easy to handle

Meg from WA wrote (September 27, 2011):

Bought this fabric to suppress weeds over the summer in anticipation of creating garden in spring. We covered a 60 x 100' area and used sand bags to hold the fabric in place. Dark color functioned well to smother weeds but fabric was beginning to degrade by summer's end becuase it had been directly exposed to elements. We purchased the 8' rolls and the weight was managable for our staff.

Landscape fabric

Dan H. from OK wrote (September 27, 2011):

It lasted about two months before it disintegrated completely. It might be all right if covered with mulch but has no UV resistance whatever. I've had some of the heavier woven fabric down for two summers and it's holding up fine even in full sun. Tried to save a little money but it didn't work.

very good product for the money. This fabric is fairly tough and will not have holes poked in it very easy.

Worked well but the sun killed it

Phil B from TN wrote (September 26, 2011):

I bought this to use in an organic gardening patch where I needed weed control but wanted a porous fabric and not black plastic with drip irrigation. The service from Leonard was fantastic, as always. The product was as described. My only complaint is that it is quickly destroyed by sunlight in this application. It was put down in May and by the first of September had essentially disintegrated, with some weeds growing up through it. I had to remove it with a rake rather than pull it up. I may be being unfair in that it is not designed for this usage, but it would be a lot more valuable to me if it would last a full season in the sun.
