Well made spreader. Only problem I had were with the cotter pins, as I placed the wrong pins on the axle.
Likes: Minimal Assembly Drop gait control separate from setting control Seemingly good quality Time will tell, but possibly the use of dourable plastic composites avoiding heel pot metal and k corosive complications AM-L non-responsive to my concern over the Shindaiwa RS76 negative reviews on Amazon Decrease material drop onto the rotating spreader disk as hopper reaches near empty eventually falling to empty the last bit of material Outrageous cost of right side edge guard which ought to be included (I used Velcro to attach my own wooden guard)
I actually like this spreader a lot and wish am-l would have more updront and responsive. Oncerns over plastic bushings instead of real ball bearings on wheels not a problem since my Rubbermaid 2wheeled wheelbarrow is the same and has never failed no matter the amount of abuse I have given it. Almost forgot, it that clear hopper. Over is much too tight for my arthritic hands.
We chose this spreader for the size of the wheel and the type of wheel. We've had spreaders with smaller and plastic wheels. They are harder to push and would be out of breath using them; but this spreader is so easy to operate, even when full. Love it!! And so does our neighbor!
