5 5 Good tool, many uses Gardener, maintenance I purchased this tool to save my back wear and tear.
4 5 works great JOYCE I bought this item because there was nothing to wear out on it. No suction cups to come off etc. It does lack a rubber surface that allows one to pick up smooth items. I expect to come up with a way to compensate for that lack.
4 5 We use a lot of them! CU Landscape Crew The clean up caddy is simple and useful for just about any kind of worker to use pick up litter. We spend 4 crew hours each day doing it. They last us about 2 years. The tips end up getting worn down and the U-shaped guide eventually loosens, and can fall off. But still the price is right for 2 years of usefulness.
5 5 Very helpful Ionafarm A very useful tool. I carry it with me on my riding mower and don't have to get off and on to pick up a stick or piece of trash.
5 5 This is a Great Product President of Evergreen Properties & Management, Inc. Very easy to use, picks up small pieces of trash (cigarette butts) and even broken pieces of asphalt. Also, keeps you from bending over as you walk, and also from getting off your mower. Would definitely recommend.
5 5 The BEST Mary These cleanup caddies are the best...can not imagine picking up litter on my walk without them!
5 5 Quicker-Picker-Uper Up in Age cannot pickup money I find on ground, LOL, ( Old Kurbo Have had a few over the Years--This is the best by far 1 Will last forever !
5 5 Quick pick up Aging Heidi Having 4’ flower beds surrounding my home & property line, these light weight tongs allowed me to remove blown in debris, like plastic & leaves in much less time & almost as easily as with my gloved hands but without having to bend over! Bought more to give to my kids & the grandkids get together to clean up a local park!
5 5 praise for the Leonard clean up caddy Mrs. Larry V My husband first saw the caddy being used by a fellow he was helping at our church, he quickly ordered us a couple to clean up our yard which has a LOT of trees with a LOT o leaves. We were so happy with them that we ordered a couple to give to each of our sons-in-law and they were happy to get them.
4 5 Practical Oliver C. Find it a little too long for my Asian height. But it's lightweight and does its job well. Wish there was an automatic locking mechanism though when picking considerably heavier objects. And also wish that the ends were solid or closed so they don't accumulate dirt, which could be hard to clean once one realizes that they're clogged.
4 5 pick-up sticks Sue these tongs work well on any shape of debris you want to retrieve, and are strong enough to lift heavier sticks and even the bottles tossed on my road frontage by ignorant passersby. the only thing that might make them better would be an attached hook-and-loop strap to keep them closed when not in use.
5 5 Pickup Caddy Bill J The caddy was lightweight but sturdy. Hand grip is adequate. Works well. Sure saves back.
4 5 Pick up Stix Bob M We've been using pick up stix in our parks for 25+ years. Your latest model is much improved over the past models. I like the bright orange handles but the foam could be a little thinner.
5 5 pick up stix les s. i have been using them for 16 years would not be without them they are a great tool for getting down in bushes under cars and compactors and best of all they are a green tool when they wear out and won't pick up you can recycle them
5 5 Outstanding! Ken H Saves my back when I do my weekly roadside trash pickup -- sad that I have to do it weekly -- but the tongs work great! Cig. butts are no challenge.
5 5 Now Have 4 Pairs Barb So handy in yard and house. As my husband and I get older, these accompany us whenever we go into the yard....saves bending to pick up sticks or dog toys.
5 5 Leonard Clean-Up Caddy Master Gardener We use this item for all kinds of jobs, including putting styrofoam cups on tall cactus tips for frost protection. But it passed the ultimate test when I used it to pick up a plastic toothpick! A winner!
5 5 Handy picker-upper Jan M We have 3 of these around the house, in the basement, and in my husband's workshop. We use them for picking up anything and everything off the floor. I also use it to reach clothes in the back of the dryer. Also outside I use it to pick up clumps of leaves in our pond. So handy - saves bending over and at our age (70's), that's not so easy anymore.
3 5 Hands Free clean up eileen doheny Ordered this tool to avoid too much benf ding and stooping while cleaning the yard. My only complaint is there is no device to keep the tongs together while walking or storing the tool.
5 5 Great tool T&J We have been using this item as camp hosts in a state park. We bought our own since we use them for 3-5 months out of the year. They almost make picking up trash fun.
5 5 Great Product Tim Scovill Bought it for road cleanup with Monticello Ruritans. I wish all of our 22 volunteers had one. Together we picked up 43 bags of trash.
5 5 Great for picking up large Magnolia leaves Senior citizen with a very large yard with large trees I use this tool for picking up Magnolia leaves, small branches and trash after a storm. Such a durable tool and lightweight, too.
4 5 Good tool James Like the simplicity of it and it works great.
5 5 Good pick up stick Green Solutions After trying a lot of different pick up sticks I finally got online to try to find a commercial grade one to put on the trucks for crews to use. This one has held up the best by far and is still going strong. I ordered 2 the first time and will be ordering more.
5 5 Community Beautifier Volunteer Community Beautifier This tool is a winner! I use it every day to clear litter from my block in Inwood (neighborhood at the top of Manhattan). I clear everything down to the last toothpick. My neighbors gave me this tool to encourage me to keep taking care of our community. It makes the job so much easier. I am considering raising funds to provide each business owner in a test section of Broadway with a clean up caddie to see if they would be willing to voluntarily clean more often than legally required.
2 5 Clean-Up Caddy W.P. Right out of the box, the product looked good, however, after testing it on several objects it revealed some serious deficiencies. The spring loaded hinge is not robust enough and the gripping jaws of the product have no holding power whatsoever. It is good enough to pick up very light weight paper or plastic litter, but fails from small branches and bottles, to items of the size and weight of a brick. What good then is a 13" jaw opening? The tasks this product does best can easily be accomplished by a dowel with a nail in its end, at a cost of only 10% of the caddy's.
5 5 clean up caddy joan Love the item, it is very strong easy to handle.
5 5 clean up caddy Ed Love the item, it is very strong easy to handle.
4 5 Clean up caddy for Daddy Stephen Only complaint wish it had a latch to stay closed.
4 5 Clean Up Caddy Michael Lightweight and does what it advertised, able to pick up small items, and larges stones etc. are fairly easy to handle. Appears to have good quality.
3 5 Almost great Chuck The side supports broke off the first week.
A.M. Leonard responds:Sent customer a replacement for the broken product.
5 5 A godsend for householders D Coe This is our second. We use it daily to clean up a 1,500 sq ft front yard in an urban setting. Couldn't do without it.
5 5 Saves the knees Ralph Broke the top of my tibia and have problems bending picking up trash. This not only makes it easier but quicker also. Great product.
5 5 36LC BOB GREAT FOR PICKING UP EMBERS FROM CAMP FIRE
5 5 Clean up caddy/reach extender New hip man I bought this to supplement the reach extender I got from the hospital following hip replacement. It is much heavier duty and can pick up lots of things in the shop the official one won't do. Also works every well with the velcro shoe fasteners that are on the shoes I wear now. Hit use a heavy duty rubber band to keep the Jaws closed when not in use.
5 5 VERY COOL TOOL MARIE IN DE It took me a moment to figure out what the cross brace was for....thought it was some sort of clever attachment hook for my Deere. However, it is truly amazing. No more jumping off the tractor to pick up random branches as I mow my eight acres and scoot around random critters!
