5 5 Works great, inexpensive! lightfalling Needed a good grafting knife to graft 100 apple rootstock, This knife worked grest, tight construction, good blade, orange color shows up well when you put it down, Blade got dull pretty quick, A couple quick swipes on a sharpening stone brought the edge right back, sharp area on blade goes almost to the handle making whip and tongue cuts very easy! Best value grafting knife you will find. I reccomend it and it looks well made enough to last for years!

4 5 Worked well for me Jerod This knife had a slight bevel on what I expected to be the "flat" side. I honed that bevel off to make the blade completely flat on one side. It worked very well for the whip and tongue grafts I used it for.

5 5 Leonard Grafting Knife - Get this knife you won't regret it. Cal - rebuilding a 5-acre citrus grove with guidance from a comm My first grafting knife as I get into citrus grafting. PROS: Very good value for the money. Bright orange handle - will stand out when placed on the ground in weeds when budding in the field. Am a lefty but can use it as a "rightie". So far (20-30 cuts), edge is like it hasn't been used. Use this knife and buy the Buddy tape here too and raise your success rate. CONS: Really best for a rightie with the flat edge positioned correctly. Not a con unless you are a lefty.

5 5 Grafting rookie Rick I have never grafted apple tree stock before. Upon looking at a number of options I chose the Leonard Folding Grafting Knife because it appeared capable of doing the job while not busting my wallet. I can say that the knife lived up to its expectations. I was able to make ten graftings in a couple hours time. The knife was sharp and accurate.

5 5 grafting knife Mike The orange handle makes this knife hard to lose or leave behind. We find that we can resharpen this knife with ease. The steel is not so hard that it takes forever to put a new edge.

2 5 am leanard grafting knife bill Whipple Barkslip fruit school I loved the shape, color and hole at the end of the knife but the steel on the blade would not hold an edge. If it had a blade comprable to the vitronox I would prefer it as the design is better. But the blade of a knife is everything

5 5 A.M. leonard grafting knife Ian D. is propagating fruit trees to conserve old varieties. I used this knife to graft several hundred trees in March. It fit well in my tightly closed fist during bench grafting. The orange color kept it from getting lost in the field. Great for peeling bark and whittling too.

4 5 A decent grafting knife for a low price AC I bought three of these knives for a workshop teaching grafting on apple stock. They came workable, but needed washing (some oil on blade) and I touched up the edge a little. The orange handle is helpful in preventing losing track of them in a field setting, but if lost, they are fairly inexpensive. I would recommend it for similar situations of teaching or having lots of knives in the field.
