The blade tapers to a 6-1/8-inch beveled cutting edge. The extra-wide turned step accommodates one of our Rubber Foot Pads. Full-strap spades feature a strip of metal that runs along the entire length of the tool. We rivet this strap for a secure hold. Each handle has a shock-absorbing hardwood core with through rivets.
