Less Lifting for Fewer Potential Injuries

The GardenGlide smoothly slides over grass, concrete, brick, dirt, gravel and more without marring surfaces. It's the right choice for transporting heavy, awkward-to-move items like potted or B&B plants, bagged materials, rocks, pavers, firewood, and more. It cannot tip and has no tires to go flat or dig into soft surfaces.

The GardenGlide's low profile design means less lifting — heavy objects can be rolled on for transport. Its back-saving design uses the strength of your legs instead of your back; just pull your load to the desired location.

Less than 4" tall, the flat shape takes little room to store so it's always at hand when you need it, but never in the way. It also fits easily into your pickup truck bed under other tools on the way to or from the job.

The 100% recycled HDPE base is lightweight and impervious to the elements. Overall diameter is 28-1/2" with a 200 lb working capacity. Made in the USA. Weighs 3.1 lb.

Why you'll appreciate the GardenGlide on the Job:
  • Ready when you are, no down time due to flat tires
  • Can't tip for less dumped loads to clean up
  • No tire grooves to deter from your finished project
  • Easy to store; flat shape takes little room to store
  • Comfortable to move, no lifting, uses your leg strength
  • Raised back prevents objects from sliding off
  • Great for hauling heavy buckets or containers
  • Smooth base distributes load over entire bottom surface so the weight is easier to move
  • Round shape makes changing pull direction problem-free
Jack at The Gardening Products Review put our GardenGlide to work moving 200 lb boulders. He concluded that "the A.M. Leonard GardenGlide is a nifty and unique item with almost limitless transport uses... I was impressed with the loads the GardenGlide could handle, the ease at which it slid across a wide range of surfaces, and the abuse it withstood when pushing it to extremes." Did I really want this Product

Patricia -- Farm girl with one-acre yard and no time from IL wrote (July 19, 2018):

Hm....I hate getting the wheelbarrow out and was curious about whether this would be better...it's up for debate. I've had eight bags of mulch and 2 bags of compost sitting on the driveway for weeks...my husband never got around to putting them down and too heavy for me. But how about I try out the new tool? A few hours later and all bags are empty! Also great that I could add a few tools as I moved around the lawn. Love this tool! Also bought the big red trug....didn't use yet but will be perfect for lawn jobs.

Garden Glide Transportation Tote

Works great for what I wanted it to do. Slides heavy bags from storage to garden or whereever easily. Better than lifting into a cart.

Save your body

Brenda Frank from VA wrote (June 15, 2018):

This is such a great product I have bought 3 more: 2 for moving 5-gallon bottles of water for watering trees and 1 for my son. The garden glide will easily more awkward items like filled leaf bags or piles of wood or just heavy items like containerized trees and large bags of mulch. It slides over garden hoses and curbs and doesn't wear out. This has become my most valuable tool.

Great Help

Jane Mobley, Master Gardener from AL wrote (May 22, 2018):

I purchased this item because I had seen a friend using one to cart around plants at a plant sale and thought that it would be great for me. I have used it every day since it came in. It is so much easier to use than my wheeled carts because it does not tip over when crossing rough or sloped ground. I just love it. It is so simple and so easy to use.

Hubby loves it!!!

Owner of a big yard!! from WV wrote (May 21, 2018):

Hard to find gifts when you are trying not to accumulate more "stuff." We have a big yard and saw this ad pop up and bought it on a whim. He loves it. A little harder to move items on the grass but very easy on cement or roads.
