Used to set fertilizer spikes Kevin from IL wrote January 22, 2017

I bought this tool to set fertilizer spikes for my trees, although this is not the intended purpose of this tool. It worked well, although I had to jostle the tool forward and backward to produce a hole wide enough for a fertilizer spike. All told, this tool was excellent and it saved me the agony of being on my hands and knees pounding spikes into the dirt for over 50 trees!

Great Bar Darryl Kubian from VT wrote June 15, 2016

My wife an I used a pair of these bars this spring to plant over 500 bare root trees and shrubs. It performed flawlessly. Much of the soil was less than ideal in terms of gravel content and it was very effective at getting through everything except the big rocks. Lost some paint, but other than that, it's like new.

great for bare root landscaper for 20 yrs-CA from PA wrote April 09, 2015

I bought this to start a small Christmas tree lot and after planting several hundred bare root this tool saved me time, provided a nice sized space to fit the bare root, and sealed up the hole perfectly. This tool is well worth the money.
