my helpers and I have been using the standard short wood handled metal scoop shovel to move wood chips; I decided I would like to have a long handled scoop instead of the shot handled one. This poly shovel looked like a feasible alternative, but when it was used on the job it was found to be much heaver than the metal scoop and the poly handle flexes with a full scoop load, making it more difficult to use for any length of time. what I really need is apparently a longer handled version of the standard light weight metal scoop.
Good shovel to save the back from bending. Great for shoveling mulch off a trailer just can’t overload like you would a mulch fork because becomes wobbly.
I have this shovel, it has broken down along edge already. Thought it would be tough enough. I love the size of it
We bought the poly shovels for our business in colorado in which we offer snow removal services. We purchased three Poly Scoops and one snapped where the handle meets the scoop within two weeks. Very unsatisfying for the cost.
Waste of money
