A controlled release fertilizer engineered to help deliver bigger, greener plants. Only one application of fertilizer is needed for the season. Composed of water-soluble nutrients. Granular formula is coated with a film of plastic resin. 3-4 months for annuals, perennials, and short term crops. 50 lb bag.

Specs

14-14-14 formula 3-4 month. The nutrients are encapsulated within multiple layers of polymeric resin. Water vapor penetrates the shell and dissolves the nutrient core into the surrounding soil/media.

Product Features

This product, when applied, has a slow release effect of 3-4 months. This is based upon a 70 degree temperature so it will vary some with each application.

Application Rates

Application rates: for incorporating; 3 pounds per cubic yard of soil. When using as topdressing in containers; for 1 gallon containers, 5 to 18 grams. For 2 gallon containers, 10 to 39 grams. For 3 gallon containers, 17 to 68 grams. For 5 gallon containers, 27 to 109 grams. For 7 gallon containers, 39 to 156 grams. When using as top dressing in open areas, 1 to 2lbs./100 sq.ft.

Expensive, but worth it! Apply it when you plant, and your done with fertilizing until very late in the summer. It lasts a good three months, and it keeps the annuals covered with blooms! Master Gardener from DeWitt, MI
