Protect your valuable fruit trees from destructive borers!

Monitor and trap Peach Tree Borers that can cause severe damage to peach trees as well as apple, apricot, plum, cherry and ornamental shrubs. Adult female borers lay between 400-900 eggs on the trunk of trees. The hatched eggs become the larvae that bore into the trunk, large roots or stems.

Hang traps shortly after petal fall. Moth activity can occur anytime between mid June and early August. Lures will last 8 weeks. Recommended to use 2 traps for each full-size tree. Each package contains 2 traps and 2 lures.

  • Active ingredient, pheromone Z3,Z13-Octadecadien-1-yl acetate, contained in a rubber septum

Application Rates

  • Peach tree boror moth activity can begin anytime in June, so in order to detect the first activity, set traps in early spring 2 weeks before buds break. Place 2 traps in tree, 2' inside edge of foliage, maintaining a foliage-free space of 12" to 18" around the trap. Do not hang below foliage canopy or closer than 4' to the ground. For small or dwarf trees use 1 trap
