Bulb Augur works well

wrote ():

This auger on a cordless drill made bulb planting very easy. I liked it mostly because it did not leave me with a cylinder of clogged dirt that had to be pushed out back into the hole. It easily can be used to enlarge a hole if that is necessary. Heavy duty and tough.
