Best snips for flowers on wrote

I'm a flower farmer, I use my snips daily for everything, flower harvesting, dead heading, cutting twine, cutting chicken wire and dividing dahlia tubers. They need to work well, clean up nice meaning also that the metal doesnt start corroding. These do. These specific snips are the best. There are many out there that look the same, but these are the best I believe. I have tried 3 other types that were far inferior. They will lose their sharpness over time, but there are ways to sharpen them. Keep them as clean as possible and they last longer.

The loop at the bottom should be made of better material.

The best snips for flower farming. on wrote

These snips are the best value! We have tried 3 other brands that look almost the same but were a poor value. They either fell apart, got dull or corroded. The AM Leonard brand is far superior. Our snips are used hard and frequently left outside by mistake. They endure what we put them through and the elements. We use them daily to harvest flowers and in the fall the extreme test of splitting dahlia tuber clumps.

Nice and precise, wish it closed better on wrote

I like the nice precise blades and small size. I wish it closed with a metal clasp up near the blade that you could flick open and closed with your finger. The leather closure is awkward, takes two hands, and I worry about its long term durability. But other than the closure, great quality for the price

needle nose hand sheers - bent on wrote

I have bought many tools from AML similar, held up well, used for a short time I have used several similar sheers as a professional landscaper for 13 years. I was surprised that within 2-3 months, the handle on this AML pair bent. Hope this is helpful info.

good fit for tight places on wrote

I purchased these shears this year with the intent of using mostly for finesse cutting in tight places. I ended up using it more than my other heavier duty shears. The weight is good and does indeed get you into those hard to reach or delicate areas of shrubbery. They remained sharp and only needed routine removal of sap and general cleaning. My only dislike is the "tong" to keep them closed. I just wasn't impressed with this connection and felt it in my way more than providing a good solution to keeping the shears closed. I will say it does work. Overall, the shears seem to be dependable and I am not sorry for purchasing them.
