This saw is just the right length to get to those hard to get to branches when pruning. Only wish there was a special cover to protect the blade. That is why I gave it a four instead of a five.

Very nice saw on wrote

Purchased one Fanno Tri-Edge Pruning Pole Saw to try out with my landscape maintenance crew. They liked it very much so I purchased another saw for the second crew.

Very handy cutting out dead stumps on large rose bushes. Good reach without getting ripped up by the thorns.

Can't go wrong with the quality of Fanno saws. Have been using them since 1980.

best for very light work. on wrote

There's not a lot of heft to this saw, so you're doing the work more than the saw is. Lightweight handle and broad tooth pattern makes it difficult to start to bite into a branch.

Fanno Pruning Saw on wrote

This is a terrific saw for pruning branches that are within 6 or 8 feet of the ground. It will completely sever branches up to 1 or 2 inches in diameter with one pull and will remove considerably larger branches with several pulls. I am a forester and keep one of these in my truck at all times.

Fanno pole saw on wrote

I bought the Fanno pole saw several months ago along with three other more expensive pole saws. I am very pleased with this tool which has a wonderful hardwood handle that I prefer over plastic. It is very sharp and its reach exceeds my other saws making it more versatile. It can't match an expandible pole saw [mine is 20 ft] in reach but is so much lighter that I'll grab this one everytime for limbs within 8 ft.
