You won't find quality like this in the big box stores! on wrote

I have two acres in Arizona where "stink weed" (a type of chamomile) overwhelms everything in the cooler months, then dries out to become tinder for wildfires in the summer. It requires constant attention. We clear about 70% of the ground by tractor, but need hand tools to work near fence lines and desirable plants. Add to this the sand and gravel mixed with loam that dries to a hard, abrasive consistency, plus some weeds being rather thick and woody, even a high-priced, lifetime-guaranteed stirrup hoe from the big box home center can't cut it. I destroyed one of those in just a few hours of use -- their flimsy tubular blade-holder was no match for the desert landscape. Enter the A. M. Leonard 7" design with replaceable blades, no less. This one chews thru the stink weed with ease and the 7" blade means fewer strokes getting the job done. The heavy steel frame holds its shape and takes the abuse of heavy use and thick weed stalks. Great tool well worth the extra few bucks.

Fantastic!!! on wrote

Another one of those fantastic tools I wish I would have bought years ago, although I'm not quite sure how long they have existed. It is sharp, somewhat flexible, and can take care of a full Garden full Of Weeds in short order. I love it, and will recommend to my gardening friends.
